3. Don't sit all day and be more active

Only humans live and work upright, but due to our misaligned atlas we are more ill than any other species. We spend a lot of our time indoors, engaging in sedentary activities that negatively affect the curvature of the spine, our mood and general health. Our bodies were not designed for sitting all day.

4. Make the best out of your bed

Sleep is extremely important for our health, including muscle and tissue repair, brain functions and hormonal stability. When you go to bed, switch off all electronic devices and remove potential disruptions. Your body needs 7-8 hours of quality sleep, so sleep on quality mattress.
Your spine, the lymphatic system and blood circulation can also benefit from very short lie downs throughout the day. You don't have to actually sleep to relax your body.
Research also indicates that you will get much better rest if you elevate the head of your bed by fifteen centimetres.

5. Reassess your diet

We lost our natural ability to choose and consume foods that are good for us. The best diet is one that supports your liver, ensures proper digestion and makes you feel great. You should never settle for anything less!

Centre your food intake on fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, beans and whole grains, and avoid processed foods that contain harmful additives, salt, sugar and unhealthy fats. Acidic foods in general put stress on our entire system, damaging the liver and causing accumulation of toxins.

Try to stay away from meat and dairy. Replace them with plant-based alternatives that are not harmful to your body and animals. Educate yourself on negative effects of animal product consumption, its link to obesity, diabetes, cancer and many chronic diseases.
